Data protection and privacy

Privacy by license

Protecting your privacy is always the top priority for Goldwert Medien GmbH. As an independent candidate portal, we do not participate in data trading on the Internet. The financing of the portal is exclusively via license fees.

We believe that all personal and professional information is worthy of protection and therefore no trade should be conducted. Therefore, we strictly reject the collection and analysis of personal information as a business model of digital communication. The basis is the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the ePrivacy Regulation.

The DIGIMAP applicant portal has been developed in close collaboration with recruitment consultants and career starters and tailored to the needs of applicants and HR decision makers.

The financing of our service is thus not compensated by the rental or sale of private or professional data as is usually the case with many free Internet offers or apps.

Your DIGIMAP account

To create and use your application, a login account ("account") is required. We collect personal information, such as your e-mail address, while setting up your account. This information is required to enable, manage and use the features around your application.

Google Ads

1. Scope of processing of personal data

We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" and in this context the conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analytics service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google is Privacy Shield certified, so that compliance with European data protection law is guaranteed by an agreement between the US and the EU. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your machine. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, contain no personal data and are thus not used for personal identification.

If you visit certain web pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we may recognize that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no way that cookies can be tracked through Ads.com's websites.

2. Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The legal basis for the processing of the users' personal data is Article 6 (1) lit. f. DSGVO.

3. Purpose of the data processing

The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics. Here's the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software (deactivation option). You will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. For more information and Google's privacy policy, please visit: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/, http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

4. Duration of storage / Opposition and removal possibility

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for our recording purposes.

In our case, this is after 14 months.

Cookies are stored on the computer of the user and transmitted by this on our side. Therefore, as a user, you have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your internet browser, you can disable or restrict the transmission of cookies. Already saved cookies can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are disabled for our website, it may not be possible to use all the functions of the website to the full.

We offer our users the option of opting out of the analysis process on our website. For this you must follow the appropriate link . In this way, another cookie is set on your system, which signals our system not to save the data of the user. If the user deletes the corresponding cookie in the meantime from his own system, he must set the opt-out cookie again.

Google Analytics

1. Scope of data processing

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to analyze the browsing behavior of our users. The software sets a cookie on the computer of the users (for cookies see above). If individual pages of our website are called, the following data is stored:

  • Two bytes of the IP address of the user's calling system
  • The website called
  • The website from which the user came to the accessed website (referrer)
  • The subpages that are called from the called web page
  • The length of stay on the website
  • The frequency of calling the webpage

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website on our behalf, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other website activity and internet related services to us as website operators. In light of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with full IP addresses, we would like to point out that in order to rule out direct personal referencing, IP addresses are only shortened on this website because we use Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()" , For this reason, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to a Google server in the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and truncated there.

Google will never associate your IP address with other Google data.

2. Legal basis of data processing

We use Google Analytics on the basis of our legitimate interests (ie interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO).

3. Purpose of the data processing

We use Google Analytics to make our website more user-friendly and optimized. For these purposes, we need to be able to evaluate the number of pageviews to see which content is of particular interest to the user. That is also our legitimate interest. Since we use the anonymization function of Google Analytics, our legitimate interest outweighs your rights.

4. Duration of storage / Opposition options

The data will be deleted at the latest after 14 months. However, you can also prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that you may not be able to use all features of this website in full in this case. In addition, you can prevent the use and processing of your data generated by the cookie by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking on the link at the bottom of the Privacy Policy. By clicking on the link, a so-called opt-out cookie is set, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting our website again.
